The Installation Process is Made up of 4 Steps
1. Building the base
2. Assemble the frame
3. Rubberize the frame
4. Glass the greenhouse (always stand glass on end, do not lay flat)

Building the Base
You might want to build the frame prior to laying down the wood base, this will give you an opportunity to see how the structure will look at your selected location.

The base must be SQUARE & LEVEL – using the diagram below, cut the 4” X 6” ground treated timbers to the required lengths. The dimensions are the extreme outside measurements; built to these dimensions the frame of the greenhouse will fit right over it. The front door sill hangs over the board; all other sides fit right on top of the boards. Take the cut boards to your site and join them together to make a solid frame, place 6” measurement of board in the up direction. SQUARE & LEVEL BASE AS ONE UNIT, don't try to do it a board at a time. Final leveling and squaring can be done when greenhouse frame is placed on base. Once you are comfortable that frame and base are square and level, use a nail to punch hole in corner of frame and secure frame to base with screws. Place the screw towards outside edge, since the glass needs to rest on the sill.

Purchase 8' lengths of 4”x 6” timbers. Dimension marked (A) is normally 3 ½”, deduct that amount from 100 3/8” required and make cut in 8' board. Secure together as in (B) with 90-degree brackets as shown. When house is completed you can further secure corners by nailing. To secure base to ground we recommend driving ½” rebar (4) into ground and securing to base with J-nails.

Fill inside of Base with approximately 3” of gravel and level. Cover gravel with ground cover and staple to the side of the base. We recommend using 5/8” to 7/8” minus gravel. Pea gravel is rounded and will move around under your feet. The ground cover will allow the water to drain and keep grass and weeds from growing. Also provides a heat sink.

Assembling the Frame
The frame can be assembled away from the actual site, under cover is always nice and carried to the site when completed, frame alone only weighs 55 lbs. All nuts and bolts are stainless steel, suggest using a hand ratchet with a 10mm socket. Power tools can strip threads. Each section is packaged together, only open section you are working on. Layout and pictures for frame assemble are viewed from inside the greenhouse, door and vent are viewed from the outside. Each piece of aluminum has the identifying number stamped into the piece itself.

Rubberize the Frame
A roll of glazing material has been provided for glazing the aluminum frame. The purpose of this rubber glazing material is to keep the glass from touching aluminum and when the glass is clipped into place it helps seal the greenhouse. Installing the glazing material will go much faster if you measure the pieces that are the same size and pre-cut them, many of the sizes are the same. You can cut 3” or 4” longer than required, there is enough material. Start at the top of each rib and gently work your way down, make sure the material at the top has not slipped down, cut the excess off the bottom. Inserting the rubber into the doorframe can be made easier by using a screen roller tool.

Glass the Greenhouse
Use step #8 glass lettering diagram provided by the Glass Gardener, not the one on page 24 of instruction booklet. All glass is custom cut and lettered per our diagram for your greenhouse. Each piece should have a label on it identifying its code letter, should it not be marked you can use the Glass Parts List to determine the corresponding size and letter. The first piece of glass should be placed at the bottom of greenhouse and work your way to the top of each row. Start at one end, using a ladder inside the greenhouse for the roof pieces, and work your way to the other end. The last row can be put in place by ladder from outside of greenhouse. You may find part #710, plastic strip, can be inserted on to the clear acrylic easily by placing the strip over the top of the acrylic and tapping gentle with the handle of a screwdriver.
